INSURED PERILS

Items are covered within the insured address on a "new for old" basis against loss or damage by fire, flood, storm, theft, escape of water and other similar causes. Except clothing, linen and rented household goods where a deduction is made for "wear and tear".

BASIC COVER: WHAT'S INCLUDED?

Possessions within the insured address: Cover available from £2,000 to £8,000 in total.
Desktop Computer Equipment: Cover included automatically. Item limits apply.
Landlords Property | Tenants Liability: Up to £5,000 in total as standard.

BASIC COVER: OPTIONAL EXTENSIONS

Basic Cover can be extended to include any of the following items:

Laptop & Portable Computers | Accommodation Only: Cover for the standard perils within the insured address.
Accidental Damage: Cover for accidental damage to audio equipment, camera equipment, computer equipment,games consoles, televisions, video and DVD players within the insured address.
Criminal Assault: Up to £500 cover for costs incurred to you as a direct result of a criminal assault.
Legal Expenses: Cover up to £30,000 for claiming against another personfor personal injury they cause you. Also includes cover for taking legal proceedings against another person or organisation as a result of.
Laptop & Portable Computers | All Risks: Cover outside of the insured address for accidental damage or theft anywhere within the UK.
Specified Items | All Risks: Cover up to £1,000 for specified items outside of the insured address for accidental damage or theft anywhere within the UK. (Excluding Laptop & Portable Computers, Mobile Phones and Pedal Cycles, which can be insured under separate optional extensions available).
Mobile Phone Cover: Cover for accidental damage or theft of your mobile phone anywhere within the UK up to £200 in total.
Pedal Cycle Cover: Cover for accidental damage or theft of your pedal cycle anywhere within the UK up to £250 in total.
